New: choose which platforms you display

At Red Cactus, we always listen to our partners, resellers, and distributors. Over the past few months, one question kept coming back to us time and time again: “Can we choose which telephony platforms are visible to our customers?” As of today, the answer is yes!

Only the telephony platforms from your own portfolio

Bubble now supports more than 85 telephony platforms. While this broad selection is great for end users who want maximum flexibility, it isn’t always ideal for distributors and partners who want to offer only the platforms within their own portfolio and do not wish to provide support for other telephony platforms. With this new functionality, it is now possible to define exactly which telephony platforms are visible in both Bubble Desktop and the Bubble web configurator. This request has been present in our partner network for some time, and over the past months it has been emphasized by multiple parties. Thanks to their valuable feedback, we were able to build and integrate this functionality into Bubble, giving partners an even cleaner way to manage and present their offering.

Integration via iframe for a consistent brand experience

For telecom providers who want to deliver their entire workflow within their own portal or provisioning environment, this enhancement is particularly useful. The web configurator is not only available within the Red Cactus Partner Portal but can also be integrated into an external environment as an iframe. This ensures that the entire configuration experience remains within the telecom provider’s familiar brand experience. Additionally, the new feature ensures that no competing telephony platforms appear in the phone connector list, while still retaining all the benefits of Bubble’s central configuration.

One choice, instantly applied across your entire reseller structure

Because the partner portal is designed with a hierarchical structure, a distributor can have resellers beneath them, who in turn can have their own resellers and customers. In theory, this structure can go infinitely deep. The choice made at the highest level is therefore automatically applied to all underlying levels. This means you no longer need to manage these settings individually. End users will only see the telephony platforms that truly belong to the portfolio of their telecom provider.
