New: Bubble Notification Center

We’ve added another powerful new feature: the Bubble Notification Center. Not a place for general or non-committal announcements, but a central hub for targeted, action-oriented support notifications. Exactly where they are needed, and immediately visible to the user.

Fast and Secure Permission

A key use case is the temporary granting of access to specific data by a user to a Red Cactus partner during support or configuration activities within the application. While partners can manage their customers’ integrations via the web configurator, additional permission is required to access certain (privacy-sensitive) data, in line with security and GDPR guidelines. Previously, users received an email for this purpose, which could be cumbersome and cause delays. From now on, a notification appears directly in the Partner Portal, allowing the user to grant permission with a single click for a predefined period. Faster, more transparent, and without unnecessary steps.

Targeted Notifications per Integration

In addition, we can now send targeted notifications per CRM or telephony platform. This includes critical updates or required actions necessary to ensure the continuity of an integration. For example, if a CRM vendor introduces a change that impacts a specific connection, we can immediately inform partners and users through a targeted notification in the Partner Portal or the Bubble application. This keeps every integration stable and up to date.

Proactive Notifications for Known Issues

Another valuable application aligns with our monthly releases. Each month, we introduce new integrations, features, and improvements. If a specific release contains a critical known issue within a particular integration, we can now communicate this directly through the Notification Center, including any required actions. This ensures users are informed in a timely manner and that the impact is kept to a minimum.

Available in Bubble and the Partner Portal

In addition to notifications within the Bubble application, the Notification Center is also available in the Partner Portal. You can find it in the top-right corner of the screen via the bell icon.
