New: AI Call Transcriptions to CRM with Activity Hub

We have added a powerful new feature to all Bubble Applications: the Activity Hub. This is the central place where users get a clear overview of their pending actions. The first major addition within the Activity Hub is the ability to write AI transcriptions of phone calls – generated by a telephony platform or a third-party application – directly into the activity timeline of a contact in the CRM. Right from launch, this feature is already compatible with more than 65 CRMs available in our marketplace.

How does it work?

Using the Activity Hub is simple and seamlessly integrates with the existing Bubble experience. During a phone call, the familiar pop-up appears with caller information, action buttons, Call Control (if supported by the telephony platform), and the other features users are accustomed to. When the Activity Hub is enabled, you will receive a notification immediately after the call ends. There, you can manually add a telephony note if desired.

Expecting an AI transcription? Simply click the AI icon to send the call log to the Activity Hub. The telephony platform or a third-party application will then automatically convert the recording into a textual summary using AI. Once the transcription is ready, it will be linked to the call log in the Activity Hub, ensuring that all information remains centralized and easy to access.

Automatic or manual matching

In the settings, you can decide how transcriptions are processed. You can choose to have an AI transcription automatically pushed to the CRM as soon as it becomes available in the Activity Hub. This saves manual work and ensures that all information is recorded immediately.

However, there are situations where manual action is required. For example, when multiple contacts share the same phone number and you need to select the correct one. Or when a contact does not yet exist in the CRM and you first need to add it in order to properly link the transcription.

Some users also deliberately prefer to always process transcriptions manually. This allows you to review, edit, and correct—or even delete—the text before it is saved. An additional advantage: any call notes added during the conversation are automatically included in the final transcription, giving you one complete and accurate record in your CRM.

Automatically or manually clearing activities

Activities remain visible in the Activity Hub for up to seven days, unless you manually delete them earlier. With the multi-select function, you can easily remove multiple activities at once. An activity may also disappear based on the timer you set: this determines how long an activity stays visible while waiting for an AI transcription. Once this period has expired, the activity is automatically pushed to the CRM – with or without a transcription, depending on availability.

Broad integration and compatibility for AI transcriptions

From the very beginning, the Activity Hub has supported automatically pushing AI transcriptions to more than 65 CRM systems, including HubSpot, Salesforce, and Dynamics 365. Want to know if your CRM supports this feature? Check the service description in our marketplace or consult the technical guide in the knowledge base. Under the Functions tab, you can immediately see whether Call logging (+AI transcription) is enabled. If so, the CRM is compatible.

The same applies to telephony platforms. More and more telecom providers and third-party vendors are actively working on a technical integration with Bubble. As a result, the number of supported telephony platforms will continue to grow significantly in the coming months. In addition, the Activity Hub is fully compatible with both Bubble Desktop and Bubble Cloud.

More than just AI transcriptions

The Activity Hub goes beyond simply writing AI transcriptions to CRMs. The technology has already been prepared to enable pushing call recordings to the CRM in the future. In addition, the Activity Hub is highly valuable for call logging.

For example: if you work with Bubble Cloud and time tracking, you can easily process your call logs afterward and directly invoice the time spent on calls. This is especially useful in sectors such as law and accounting, where accurate tracking of call minutes is essential.

And this is just the beginning. In the coming months, new features will be added to the Activity Hub, such as creating tasks for colleagues who also use Bubble, as well as other smart applications that further enhance collaboration and productivity.
