Build if-this-then-that flows with Bubble Cloud

The Automations module, already known from Bubble Desktop, is now also available in Bubble Cloud. With this addition, you can now build if-this-then-that flows directly from the web configurator. This makes it even easier to set up automated actions that match your own workflows or those of your customer.

Why if-this-then-that flows are valuable

We are frequently asked whether Red Cactus can develop custom integrations. Many organizations are looking for ways to better align their communication and internal processes. They want to integrate their software into daily operations without relying on standard solutions that don’t always offer the right functionality. Bubble offers a simpler alternative. Even though Bubble is built as a generic integration tool, you can easily tailor the platform to specific customer needs by activating the Automations module.

What you can do with the Automations module

The module is based on the well-known if-this-then-that principle. This means you can automatically trigger a specific action when a predefined condition is met. It allows you to enhance existing integrations into what feel like custom solutions—without actually having to build custom code. A practical example: you can configure a flow so that a customer satisfaction survey is automatically sent at the end of a phone call. The “if” condition is the call ending, and the “then” actions could include retrieving the caller’s email address from the CRM and sending it directly to the survey tool you've linked to the flow.

Integrations with external automation platforms

In addition to its built-in features, the Automations module can also be integrated with platforms like Zapier, Power Automate, IFTTT, etc.. By connecting one of these automation platforms to Bubble Desktop or Bubble Cloud, you instantly unlock thousands of additional possibilities to meet customer needs.
