New: Apple Silicon Support
by Techupdate on May 29, 2026 1:29:00 PM
With the release of Bubble version 4.64 (beta), Bubble Desktop now fully supports Apple's latest generation of processors: Apple Silicon. This allows the application to run natively on MacBooks equipped with M1, M2, M3, and M4 chips, delivering optimal performance, a smoother user experience, and full compatibility with future versions of macOS.
Why this update matters
Apple is gradually phasing out support for applications developed for Intel processors. As a result, software developers are being encouraged to adapt their applications for Apple Silicon. Today, all new MacBooks and most other Mac systems are powered by Apple Silicon. Starting with macOS version Tahoe 26.5, macOS displays warnings on Apple Silicon Macs for applications that still depend on Intel support, such as: "Support ending for Intel-based Apps". Applications that do not make the transition to Apple Silicon may eventually stop working in future versions of macOS.
Bubble Desktop on Apple Silicon
To ensure that our users can continue using the Bubble Desktop application on macOS without interruption in the years ahead, we have updated Bubble for Apple Silicon. Starting with version 4.64 (beta), the application runs natively on Apple's latest generation of processors.
Bubble Desktop users benefit from:
- Support for Apple Silicon (M1, M2, M3, and M4)
- Compatibility with current and future versions of macOS
- No dependency on Apple's Intel compatibility layer (Rosetta 2)
- No warnings about the upcoming end of support for Intel-based applications
Downloading the Apple Silicon version
The Apple Silicon version of the Bubble Desktop application is currently available through our beta channel. As usual, new versions are first released as beta versions before becoming available through the stable channel. Would you like to use the Apple Silicon version? Make sure your customer account in the Partner Portal is subscribed to the beta channel. You can then download the latest version from the Software section in the Partner Portal.
To clearly distinguish between the two versions, both are now labeled separately:
- Apple Silicon – for Mac systems powered by Apple Silicon processors (M1, M2, M3, and M4)
- Apple Intel – for Mac systems powered by Intel processors

Following a successful beta period, the Apple Silicon version will also be made available through the stable channel in the near future.
