Good news for all Bubble Desktop users and partners! Starting November 10, you’ll be able to fully configure Bubble Desktop through the web configurator. Every configuration is applied instantly through real-time communication between Bubble Desktop and the web configurator, eliminating any delay or need for synchronization. This means you’ll now have one central environment for both Bubble Desktop and Bubble Cloud, making configuration faster, more consistent, and much easier to manage.
Secure and Responsible Centralized Management
Management through the web configurator is fully centralized, with a strong focus on privacy, data security, and GDPR compliance. Partners with the appropriate roles and permissions can manage configurations, but they do not have direct access to CRM data or customer log files. If temporary access is needed, this can easily be requested through the web configurator — after which the end user, as the owner of the customer data, can grant permission for a limited time. This ensures that data ownership remains clear and transparent at all times.
The web configurator is accessible only after a secure login and runs on a modern infrastructure designed with security, reliability, and control as its foundation. On November 10, Bubble Desktop configuration via the web configurator will go live. Everyone with access to the beta channel can start using it immediately. Of course, you can still configure locally in Bubble Desktop if you prefer — the only difference is that you now have an additional option: choose between local configuration or management via the web configurator. This way, you can decide what best fits your organization and workflow.
