The Red Cactus AI Data Hub brings CRM, telephony, and business data together in a single, centralized data layer. Through powerful APIs and native support for the Model Context Protocol (MCP), this information is made securely available in real time to AI agents, voicebots, chatbots, and other AI applications. With support for more than 230 CRM systems and 100+ telephony platforms, AI solutions can not only access up-to-date information but, depending on the capabilities of the connected systems, also perform actions directly. All of this is built on a privacy-by-design architecture, where data is not copied or synchronized but retrieved in real time directly from the source systems.

This provides AI solutions with a stable, secure, and scalable foundation for real-time data access and automation at all times.

MCP

The Red Cactus MCP Server enables AI agents and business applications to securely communicate with more than 230 CRM systems and 100+ telephony platforms through a standardized set of MCP tools (endpoints). Using these MCP tools, AI agents can, among other things, retrieve CRM data in real time, control calls (such as initiating, answering, transferring, and ending calls), create or update CRM records, and perform various other actions. The exact capabilities depend on the functionality supported by the connected CRM or telephony platform. As a result, developers only need to integrate with the Red Cactus MCP Server once. Through a single, unified interface, they gain direct access to all supported systems.

What can you do with the Red Cactus MCP Server?

One of the most powerful capabilities of the Red Cactus MCP Server is the ability to retrieve data from CRM systems in real time. The data that can be retrieved depends on the CRM system, as each platform makes different information and fields available. An overview of all supported CRM systems and their available fields can be found on our Marketplace. Data can typically be retrieved based on a phone number or name. Because the information is retrieved in real time, an AI agent always works with the most up-to-date data from the CRM, without the need to synchronize or copy data.

Imagine a customer calling an organization. The AI agent answers the call. Even before the customer introduces themselves, the AI agent can use the Red Cactus MCP Server to identify the corresponding contact in the CRM based on the caller's phone number. Once the CRM returns the data, the AI agent has immediate access to relevant information such as the customer's name, address details, email address, previous interactions, open tickets, and any other information available within that particular CRM system.

Depending on the industry, this information can become even more valuable. At an automotive service center, for example, the AI agent could immediately see which vehicle belongs to the customer, when its roadworthiness inspection expires, when a lease contract ends, or when the vehicle was last serviced. At a dental practice, the AI agent could instantly access information such as the customer's next appointment, their dentist or dental hygienist, and any scheduled treatments. At a law firm, the AI agent could immediately access the correct case file, identify the lawyer responsible for the case, and view its current status.

Because this information is already available at the start of the conversation, the AI agent no longer needs to ask unnecessary standard questions. Customers do not have to explain again who they are or why they are calling, making conversations more personal, efficient, and faster. The AI agent can also make better-informed decisions about how the call should be handled and whether, for example, it needs to be transferred to a specific employee.

Many CRM vendors want to fully integrate telephony into their own applications without having to develop a separate integration for every telephony platform. With the Red Cactus MCP Server, a CRM only needs to integrate once. All supported telephony platforms can then be controlled through the same MCP tools.

For example, a user can click a phone number within the CRM, after which the appropriate MCP tool automatically initiates the call. During the call, the user can answer, place the call on hold, transfer, or end it directly from the same CRM interface, depending on the capabilities of the telephony platform being used.

After the call, the CRM can automatically log the interaction, update the customer record, and initiate follow-up actions or workflows. If the connected telephony platform supports AI functionality, an AI-generated call summary can also be automatically stored in the CRM.

This means CRM vendors no longer need to develop and maintain dozens of separate telephony integrations. A single integration with the Red Cactus MCP Server provides direct access to a large ecosystem of supported telephony platforms.
