Important! Migration announcement

It is important that you are aware of the contents of this message because there are going to be some important changes to our infrastructure in the next 3 months. In fact, there are great releases planned this year such as the new partner portal, the web configurator, Bubble Cloud and much more, but first we are going to start using our new infrastructure.

Top-notch infrastructure
If you want to keep winning by providing the best software and the best service, we believe in always investing in the invisible piece too; the infrastructure. Over the past eight months, we have been building a completely new top-notch infrastructure based on Azure that allows us to scale up even more easily, helps us further with our internationalisation strategy and enables us to deliver even better quality. After an extensive testing period on our development environment, we are ready to go live in the coming months.

What it will bring
In sales conversations, we regularly make the comment "it's not about what it costs, but what it delivers". Although the new infrastructure is quite an investment in financial terms, the statement holds true here too because in terms of quality and professionalisation, it is quite a step forward. Some examples of what it delivers are:

  • ISO certification: the new infrastructure will use various resources in the Azure platform which has the following ISO certifications: ISO 200000-1:2018, ISO 22301:2019, ISO 27001:2022, ISO 27017:2015, ISO 27018:2019 and ISO 9001:2015.
  • Performance: load balancing in the redundant environment is greatly improved because capacity is automatically added temporarily or permanently when there are peaks in server load. This upscaling is done both horizontally (adding servers) and vertically (adding resources to servers).
  • Zero downtime deployment: by implementing the "zero downtime deployment" mechanism, updates can be deployed in the infrastructure without downtime and synchronisation issues in the redundant environment. Updates are then performed incrementally across different instances or servers, updating each instance one by one while the others remain active, thus maintaining service availability.
  • Geo clusters: the new infrastructure consists of geo clusters which means that data can be processed and stored in a location required by the legislator of a relevant country. It also ensures that there is no delay if, for example, you are based in a continent other than Europe because your data will then not be processed by servers in Europe.
  • Security: processes have been taken apart so that each server is now only responsible for one process. This enables us to isolate processes more easily in the event of a disaster.
  • Monitoring: because the processes have been taken apart, we can apply even better and more detailed monitoring to ongoing processes which greatly increases the quality of service.

Important dates for going live
The migration to the live environment is done in two steps. First the database will be moved and a few weeks later the other processes. To minimise possible inconvenience, the work will be done over the weekend.

  • 11 May 2024: Migration database (low impact*)
  • 7 July 2024: Migration other processes (higher impact**)
* there will be a short interruption of services
** besides a short break, actions are required in a number of situations

Required actions
As our IP addresses are changing (click here for the new IP addresses), in some situations action is required. Should you use our IP addresses in a whitelist, you can add the new ones now. More information on specific CRM or telephony integrations where additional action is required will follow soon.
