The Call Control functionality within Bubble has been further expanded with support for DTMF. For telephony platforms that support it, we already offered features such as answer, hang up, cold transfer, hot transfer and on hold, but DTMF has now been added to that list. This makes managing your phone calls from within Bubble even more complete and easier.
Call Control makes it possible to operate your connected hardphone or softphone directly from Bubble. This becomes especially powerful when you use the Bubble365 Teams App or one of our other embedded CRM apps, such as those for HubSpot, Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics 365. You can control your telephony directly from your CRM without having to constantly switch between different applications. With the addition of DTMF, that advantage becomes even greater, as you can now also make selections during a phone call, for example when you encounter an IVR menu.
For supported telephony platforms, a new DTMF button will now automatically appear. When you click it, a dial pad opens, allowing you to quickly select the desired key whenever you are in a menu. This means you no longer need to leave your application and can continue working entirely within Bubble or your CRM environment.
At launch, DTMF is directly supported for Broadsoft, Telepo and the Universal Phone Connector. For Broadsoft, availability may vary per provider. The Universal Phone Connector enables various telephony platform developers to make their platform compatible with Bubble, ensuring the new functionality is instantly available across many environments.
The new DTMF feature is available immediately starting from Bubble Desktop version 4.58. In December, this functionality will also be automatically added to all Bubble365 apps, allowing users on all platforms to benefit from the same improved calling experience.
