With our latest update, we introduce a renewed way of logging in across the entire Bubble365 app series. In addition to single sign-on via Microsoft, Google, and Apple, and the existing combination of username, password, and multifactor authentication, we now offer an extra option that adds speed, convenience, and flexibility in one seamless step. From now on, you can log in by scanning a QR code that smoothly continues the process on your smartphone.
The new QR login method is designed for moments when a device cannot open a new browser session. Think of an embedded browser in a car or an embedded environment within a CRM or telephony platform. In such situations, resuming the login procedure on your smartphone becomes a powerful advantage. By scanning the QR code, you prevent the login from getting stuck and maintain a smooth experience from start to finish.
Avoiding text input increases both speed and convenience. This is especially beneficial on devices with limited input capabilities. Instead of struggling with tiny keyboards on touchscreens or small displays, the smartphone becomes the central tool to complete the login effortlessly.
Authentication takes place on a trusted device that is already secured, such as a smartphone with biometrics. This provides users with more confidence while keeping technical security layers fully intact. You simply complete the process in an environment you use daily and are already familiar with.
Many embedded browsers block pop ups or do not support opening new tabs. The QR flow bypasses this issue entirely, making it possible to log in even when a device’s technical limitations would otherwise disrupt the normal process.
This new login method is now available across all our Bubble365 apps, with the exception of the Bubble365 Mobile App itself, where the added value would be minimal. With this release, we further strengthen the accessibility and user experience of our entire platform, making complex situations significantly easier for every user.
