From now on, it is possible to create multiple profiles under the same user in the web configurator. This functionality was already available in the local Bubble Desktop application, but has now also been added to the web configurator. As a result, this feature is compatible with both Bubble Desktop and Bubble Cloud.
With this functionality, multiple configurations can be managed side by side under a single user. Each profile represents its own set of settings, making it possible to use different configurations without the need to create separate users.
This is particularly useful for users who work across multiple departments and require different configurations per department. In addition, this feature can be used to create separate production and test profiles, allowing new settings or changes to be tested without affecting the active configuration.
For administrators, this functionality provides additional options for management and standardization. A global profile can be created as a baseline and then rolled out to the rest of the organization using the profile cloning functionality in the partner portal. This simplifies management and ensures consistent configurations.
Each profile can be given a specific name, making profiles easy to distinguish. Switching between profiles is done by clicking the desired profile and then clicking the Activate button in the webconfigurator. The selected configuration is loaded immediately, without requiring a restart or reauthorization.
