With the release of Bubble version 4.64 (beta), Bubble Desktop now fully supports Apple's latest generation of processors: Apple Silicon. This allows the application to run natively on MacBooks equipped with M1, M2, M3, and M4 chips, delivering optimal performance, a smoother user experience, and full compatibility with future versions of macOS.
Apple is gradually phasing out support for applications developed for Intel processors. As a result, software developers are being encouraged to adapt their applications for Apple Silicon. Today, all new MacBooks and most other Mac systems are powered by Apple Silicon. Starting with macOS version Tahoe 26.5, macOS displays warnings on Apple Silicon Macs for applications that still depend on Intel support, such as: "Support ending for Intel-based Apps". Applications that do not make the transition to Apple Silicon may eventually stop working in future versions of macOS.
To ensure that our users can continue using the Bubble Desktop application on macOS without interruption in the years ahead, we have updated Bubble for Apple Silicon. Starting with version 4.64 (beta), the application runs natively on Apple's latest generation of processors.
